First Aid for Cyclists

Cyclists are at an increased risk of accidents and are more likely to stop at another accident. When dealing with a cycling accident, there is also the risk of being hit by another vehicle. This course is aimed at all cyclists, whether you race or use your cycle in town. This covers BLS skills and the specific problems faced by cyclists.

Activity First Aid Level 2

The purpose of the Activity First Aid Level 2 qualification, is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding of first aid to provide appropriate care and manage life-threatening conditions, illness and injuries sustained in an active environment. This training course is delivered over 12 hours

Basic first aid for Horse Riders

Our 1 day course is aimed at any horse rider to learn basic first aid skills to keep them safe. Horse riding presents different dangers & the course covers injuries and illnesses that you are likely to face. We also offer a 3 day Equestrian First Aid at Work (HSE compliant) that meets the British Horse Society (BHS) requirements.

First aid for all Motorcycle User

Motorcyclists are at an increased risk of accidents and more likely to stop at another bike accident. Dealing with motorcycle accidents has other risks as you will be by a busy road and could be hit by another vehicle. This specialist course covers basic life support skills as well as other injuries that could affect motorcyclists as well as safety by the roadside

First Aid Course for Sports Emergencies

This course covers basic first aid and is aimed at people who need first aid who work in various sports sectors. It not only covers basic first aid but also all the specific problems that arise in sports. Primary and secondary subjects are covered, including soft tissue injuries, head injuries, types of cuts, and many illnesses that could arise.

Scouting First Response

The aim of 1st Response is to ensure that Girlguiding / Scouting members are kept as safe as possible while they are in our care. The course is mapped to and based on the Scouting 1st Response full course and is taught over six contact hours, not including breaks. Participants will have the skills and knowledge to enable them to keep members as safe as possible.

First Aid for Fitness and Dance Instructors

This First Aid course is aimed at anyone who teaches or assists in the instruction of fitness/exercise and dancing. The course is adapted to the sorts of injuries and illness that you are likely to come across. The course is also ideal for any students in this sector. This course is delivered over one day at our training centre or  onsite

First Aid for Martial Arts Instructors

This course is specially designed to cater for the injuries that could occur with martial arts training and classes and includes paediatric first aid and AED use as well as many other additional subjects for Martial Arts Instructors. Covered in the courses are different subjects that would apply to any martial arts sector  We also offer a standard course for Martial Arts students.

Outdoor First Aid 16 Hour Day Two

Outdoor Pursuits 16 Hour First Aid to meet the requirements laid down by many outdoor pursuits as it covers primary and secondary care and adapted to the outdoor world where the emergency services may be harder to access. We also offer a shorter course if that is all you require or other specific workplace courses. This course is delivered over 2 days

Outdoor Pursuits First Aid

Outdoor Pursuits First Aid where you do not need the 16-hour course. It covers primary and secondary care where the EMS is not easily accessible. This is a one day course is a fun and practical course. All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements.  Delivered over one day 

FAA Level 3 Award in Activity First Aid

The qualification is specifically designed to provide first aid skills and knowledge to learners working in activity and outdoor environments where the requirement for a qualified First Aider may have been identified by a workplace risk assessment. The qualification is also suitable for learners involved in voluntary and community activities.

Equestrian First Aid at Work for riders

This ProTrainings course is aimed at human first aid for anyone involved with horses where the First Aid at Work qualification is needed in addition to specific injuries involved when working with horses and a course tailored to equestrian subjects. If you are involved in teaching riding or other activities you are required to have the BHS first aid qualification or the HSE First Aid at Work qualification.
