Hopefully you’ll be able to find the answer to your question here, but if not, there’s a contact form at the bottom of the page which you can use to ask us a question directly. We aim to get back to you within 24 hours, but it’s usually much sooner than that

How many learners can attend a course?

Our other Ofqual accredited courses are governed by the requirements of the Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisations to which Omnis Health & Safety Solutions are affiliated. In these cases, maximum number are again normally limited to a maximum of 12 learners per instructor, unless otherwise stated.

This is a sensible number and we try to maintain this for our bespoke courses as well. We also have minimum numbers for each course, below which it would not be feasible to run a course. Generally there is a minimum requirement for 4 learners per course

How can you design a course when you don't know our company?

Each company is different, and has different needs. A “one size fits all” training programme is not our style. We will discuss with you to get to know your company, what you do, how you operate and to discuss your training requirements, so that we understand exactly what you need. We will then provide advice and guidance on the most suitable training course. We can also design a bespoke course specifically for your company, to ensure the training meet your companies requirements.

Contact us today for more information.

what you need to bring?

For Ofqual registered training you must bring photographic proof of identity (passport, driving licences etc). Please be aware that the awarding body stipulates that you will not be allowed to sit the final exam without this.

We are committed to ensuring all candidates have an equal opportunity to achieve their chosen qualification, changes can be easily made for specific learning needs, please let us know if you have any requirements.

What happens after the course?

Each course does have an element of assessment. In order to pass the course attendees are required to take a full and active part in practising all of the procedures and protocols taught to provide for the necessary continual assessment opportunities. Some training requires the completion of multiple choice exam or practical assessment. Please see individual course for more details.

As a minimum, we always provide feedback and post course evaluation so that you know we’ve helped your staff to improve so they can do their jobs better. We can also provide further evaluation in the form of on the job observation and coaching. We aim to mark all exams within 24 hours and notify you of the outcome.

If you have recently changed jobs, or been promoted, you may be expected to have or learn new skills. Whilst some of our courses are self-explanatory and suitable for specific jobs, other courses are suitable for many job roles in many industries. email us and let us help you decide the training that would be most beneficial to you.

When Attending a First Aid Course?

Clothing
Short skirts and low cut tops are not suitable for this course as there is a lot of rolling around practising first aid techniques. Please wear other suitable clothing that you do not mind lying down on the floor in.

Our First Aid training courses are active and practical in nature. If during any part of the practical sessions you feel uncomfortable or in danger, stop and ask the trainer for guidance.

Always be aware of your back when lifting, your knees when kneeling, and as ever assess your own safety first. Remember personal hygiene e.g. by making sure you wipe your manikin before use.
If you have any medical conditions or injuries, which could affect your performance, please bring them to the attention of our trainers at the start of the course.

Be Aware: We talk in detail about injuries and illness that can, in some instances, remind participants of past events. If you find this happening please bring it to the attention of the trainers sooner rather than later.

Please also bring your own lunch and snacks
