With a large number of organisations having their employees working from home the need for health and safety information, advice and training has never been greater. Confined Spaces Awareness
A confined space is an area which is substantially enclosed (though not always entirely) and is one where serious injury can occur from hazardous substances or conditions within the confined space or near to the space (e.g. lack of oxygen).
Fire Safety – Distance Learning New
Delivered via Distance Learning, This qualification is suitable for an employee who has responsibility in the workplace to undertake fire safety requirements. It will provide learners with the knowledge and skills to carry out designated duties as a Fire Warden/Marshall. The course covers fire hazards, risk assessment, control of fire in the workplace and duties of both employers and employees.
First Aid for Mental Health | FAA Level 2 Award – 1 day16 Available
This course is suitable for everyone but has been designed to help employers to provide a positive mental health culture within the workplace and to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge on a range of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act should a condition be suspected.
Learners undertaking this course will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health and be a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.
First Aid for Mental Health Awareness – FAA Level 1 Award16 Available
This ½-Day course is aimed at providing learners with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost the person towards professional help.
Duration A minimum of 4 hours spread over at least one day. Ideally, the course should be run in one day, but must be completed within 2 weeks of starting the course, with each training session a minimum of two hours.
